As Sir Alex Ferguson prepared the team to take on Spurs at Old Trafford for our first victory of the season, a group of Manchester United supporters descended upon the Nike outlet in the Lowry shopping mall at Salford Quays, Manchester on Sunday.

The flash mobbing of the Nike store is part of an ongoing campaign to target all current sponsors, for as long as the Glazers continue to inflict high price hikes upon supporters and force supporters into compulsory ticket purchases such as the Auto Cup Scam which was recently implemented by the Glazers and their obedient lap-dog, David Gill..

Nike previously had two other stores in prime commercial locations in the City Centre of Manchester, but both have since closed, after being repeatedly targeted by Manchester United supporters.

Ladbrokes & Vodafone also withdrew their high profile sponsorship of the Glazer owned Manchester United, after they too came under attack from United supporters, in the years since the unwanted arrival of the Glazers.

The obvious message seems to be, if you are prepared to give your own rubber-stamp of approval, and support, to the most odious regime in British football, a regime who are currently fleecing the countries most loyal fans for every single penny they can, then you'll be treated as much the enemy as the Glazers themselves.

The LUHG group insist that all current sponsors of Manchester United should press upon the Glazers not to implement further price hikes during the next 2 football seasons, and this should be applicable to all Season Ticket holders, One Year Season Ticket Holders and for tickets purchased by One United Members. With all future increases thereafter to be discussed with fans representatives from democratically elected and organised Manchester United Supporter Groups.

In the event that the current sponsors do not become empathetic to the plight of Manchester United Supporters, the LUHG group will continue to spearhead a course of action affecting the current, and any future sponsors under the Glazer occupancy of Manchester United.
