There are reports in the media that the Glazers may be ready to listen to offers for the sale of Red Football, which is the name of the company used as the ownership of Manchester United FC.
Oliver Houston, vice-chairman of the Independent Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) said: "Of course they are going to deny it. But they could easily look to sell-up any time in the next four years and we, as fans, must be ready.
"The rumours have surfaced because they are looking to re-finance the debt again this summer.
"If they can't, one of the options open to them is that they sell part or all of the club.
"The point is that their involvement with United is dependent on the Glazer empire. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are struggling, we know their fish oil company is also suffering and Malcolm Glazer is also very ill,so who knows what could happen?
MUST chairman Nick Towle said: "They looked at the club in business terms and were not prepared for the unpredictable nature of football. The NFL is far more predictable in terms of revenue.
"Financially, this season was very good. Premiership winners, FA Cup finalists and Champions League semi-finalists - it doesn't get too much better.
"If they are in trouble after a season like that, what it would have been like if the team had struggled?"
The Glazer's completed the controversial £800million buy-out two years ago, Glazer has already re-financed United's massive debts once and chief of staff Ed Woodward is believed to be working on another re-structure of the debt, which would reduce interest re-payments from around £65million a year.
The Glazer stooges have issued a statement refuting any suggestion they want to sell United. This is the second time the Glazers have rejected such claims, the first coming on the eve of the last Premiership home game against West Ham.
"The Glazer family have a long-term commitment to Manchester United and that is not going to change," he said.
"Quite simply, they are not interested in selling the club. Why would they?
Is this all part of the Glazers plan to have information leaked to generate interest in hope of a securing a high bid. The Glazer family have history in speculative purchasing of shares in order to inflate the stock price.
Even though United are about to benefit from a massively increased TV deal and knowing revenue from sponsorship, the Glazers have piled an enormous increase on the price of a season-tickets, another example of the insatiable Glazer greed and more importantly burdening the ordinary supporter with the Glazer Debt,as predicted by Manchester United fans groups over 2 years ago.
With such a heavy burden being placed up on the ordinary fans, this is likely to increase the vocal opposition to the Glazers control of United. It seems that the Glazers don't understand what defines a Manchester United Football Club supporter.
It is very much evident that United Supporters still fiercely oppose the Glazer ownership of the club, this was evident during a recent visit by Malcolm Glazer's three sons to watch United's European game against Milan, in which they came under attack by a group of United fans outside the Lowry Hotel in Manchester.
