Gimp Glazer has appointed three more stooges fromhis family onto the board of Manchester United.

Sons Kevin, 44, Edward, 36, and daughter Darcie, who will be 38 on Thursday join as non-executive directors.

The trio join Glazer's sons, Joel, Ave and Bryan, who have been on the Old Trafford board since the American businessman completed his Red Devils takeover last summer.

While United officials insist the move will have no affect on the day-to-day running of business at Old Trafford, the appointments could be interpreted as a sign of Glazer passing on responsibility for the club to his family.

The 78-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner is still slurring after having two strokes back in April.

"The move reflects common practice," said a United spokesman.
